What is the Extended Day Program?

The Nashua School District was awarded a grant to enable six elementary schools to become Extended Day Program Schools: Amherst Street, Dr. Crisp, Fairgrounds, Ledge Street, Mt. Pleasant and Sunset Heights.  With the support and collaboration of local community agencies, these schools will provide high-quality, expanded learning opportunities for all students and contribute to the decrease in drug use and violence, while enhancing mental and physical abilities in our youth.  Programs run by the Extended Day Program are independent of the Adult Learning Center's Adventure Club.  Students enrolled in the Adventure Club are entitled to one tuition-free course during the week.  These students must complete a registration form.  Family Resource Coordinator - Debra Kudalis, at 345-7056.
