Questions
Call our office at 594-4382.  Mrs. Makarawics and Mrs. Paetzold will be happy to answer questions or relay information.

Parent Link & Absences
If a child is going to be absent a parent is to call and leave a message giving the child’s name, the teacher and the reason for absence.  This call should occur prior to 8:00 AM.  Families of students recorded as absent will receive an automated parent call (by 10:00 AM) indicating that the child is not in attendance.  Parents receiving the call will have the option of excusing his/her child and the school will receive an e-mail or voice file of the excuse.  Parents receiving the message at a later time are asked to call the school and excuse their child or the absence will be considered unexcused.  An absence note is required upon return to school.  Family vacations or trips taken when school is in session are considered unexcused absences per School Board Policy.  School work is not provided until the student returns to school.

Nut Allergies
If students with extreme nut allergies are in your child’s class the classroom will be nut-free for child safety.

Closings & Delays
Emergency school closings or 90 minute delayed openings due to inclement weather will be announced by 5:30 AM.  Parents can find information on closings and delays on th District Website. Parents can also receive a phone call in the morning from Parent Link informing them of school delay or closing.
