Mrs. Novak - My name is Allison Novak. I grew up in Manchester, NH. I got my B.S. in Elementary Education/ Educational Research at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. After college I moved to Washington, D.C. where I taught Kindergarten, First Grade and Third Grade in Alexandria, VA and Washington, DC for 6 years. My husband and I moved "home" to Nashua and I started teaching Third Grade at Bicentennial 8 years ago. I taught Third Grade for 3 years and this is my fifth year in Kindergarten. I enjoy spending my mornings with my 3 year old at home, and spending my afternoons at school with a great Kindergarten class!
Miss Dunigan- My name is Jessica Dunigan. I am a New Hampshire native and lived in Manchester all my life. I received a B.A. in Communication Studies in 2007 and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction in 2008; both from Keene State College. I am very excited to be teaching at such a wonderful school and look forward to what this year will bring!
Mrs. MacDonald- My name is Cortney MacDonald. I am originally from Connecticut and moved to New Hampshire in 1997. I graduated from Keene State College with a B.S. in Elementary Education/English and have a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Rivier College. I live with my husband and two children in Litchfield, NH. I taught fourth grade for ten years and this is my second year teaching Kindergarten. I enjoy working with younger children and look forward to helping them grow this year!
Mrs. Lavoie- My name is Linda V. Lavoie. I am a lifelong Nashua native, I have three adult children, and have been married since 1973. I have been working for the Nashua School district since 1991 and at Bicentennial School since 1993. As of 2002, I am the Kindergarten Para Educator and assist in all four Kindergarten classes. I enjoy creative writing, arts and crafts, taking photos, listening to music, as well as training adult cub scout leaders in my spare time. Working with Kindergarten children just makes me want to "jump for joy!"
Mrs. Drouin-My name is Deb Drouin. I grew up in Pelham, NH and Westford, MA. I reside in Nashua with my husband and my little girl who goes to Bicentennial School. I have two grown children who are my best friends. I had a child, Chris, who passed in 1999 at the age of 11 from bacterial meningitis. We miss him so much. The experience of losing a child has made me appreciate children more than ever. Thank you, Bicentennial, for the opportunity to work with these wonderful children. I truly love these kids like my own.
Mrs. Beaudoin -My name is Linda Beaudoin. I'm from Quebec, Canada and moved to Nashua with my husband and two children in 1994. I enjoy living here. I have been working at Bicentennial School since 1999, and love working with the Kindergarten kids!
Mrs. Harris- My name is Denny Harris. I have lived in Nashua for 20 years, having previously lived in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. My husband, Mark, and I have three grown daughters and two grandsons. I am starting my nineteenth year at Bicentennial. I teach Early Reading Intervention as part of the Scott Foresman reading program.
