During the 2009-2010 school year, Humans relations teacher, Ms. Yates brought students in her current classes to participate in the training of becoming a peer mediatior. Some of these students were seniors of this year and some of these students are still attending Nashua High South today.
As for the students, you may know some of these students, they could be your friends or in your classes. As for parents these faces are all knew to you.

These students are just like you, they are trained in peer mediation and know how to communicate with conflict. When these students became certified, they took an oath to keep all situations spoken about in this program confidential. They are only allowed to speak with the peer mediation coordinator about a problem if one of the students involved has threatend to hurt another person or themselves.
Below is a list of the students that you may contact during school if you have any problems that you would like to set up an appointment to discuss. All appointments will happen during school with two peer mediatiors and the students that are involved in the situation. During every appointment the students will be brought together, only under certain circumstances are the students seperated into different rooms with each peer mediatior. If the mediatior does not feel comfortable, at anytime they are able to call off the appointment and reschedule with a different peer mediatior. If you are friends with any of these students you see below you may not be able to scheduale an appointment with them to eliminate the bias.
