Nashua Technology Center

The Nashua Technology Center offers Career and Technical Educational Programs which are available to students at BOTH Nashua High School North and Nashua High School South. Students may be required to travel to participate in Career and Technical Education programs. These courses are designed to provide them with important and necessary skills for whatever career path they may choose and are designed for students who have a specific interest in pursuing a career in one of the following areas: Automotive Technician, Business Careers, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Careers in Education, Culinary Arts, Construction Trades, CADD, HVAC, Computer Networking (Cisco Program), Hospitality and Tourism, Pre-Engineering (Project Lead The Way), Electricity, Graphic Design and Printing, Video Production & Broadcasting, Health Sciences, Machine Technology, Cosmetology and Biotechnology. A number of these courses, when taken at the honors level, award college credit through Project Running Start. Some programs may be available to 10th graders on a space available basis.

Please note that some courses in the Nashua Technology Center (NTC) are offered as part of a two-year program to be taken during a student’s junior and senior years. Juniors and students who will be able to complete BOTH years of the program are given preference when enrollments in these courses are determined.

Those who meet the requirements for the first year of a program are not guaranteed placement as space is limited due to area agreements with regional sending schools and fixed class sizes. Students who successfully complete the first year Level 1 of a program with a “C-” or better will be allowed to enroll in the second year Level 2 of the program with NTC Director’s approval.

Note: Students must complete the full year of the CTE Program to earn credit
