Welcome to the Amherst Street Media Center!
Our Mission:
The library media center is dedicated to strengthening the teaching/learning process so that students can develop Information Literacy skills. It also supports reading for personal enjoyment by providing a wide variety of fiction and nonfiction books to appeal to all tastes and reading abilities.
Information Literacy is the ability to locate, analyze, evaluate, interpret and communicate information and ideas.
Our Policies:
There is a schedule for each class to visit the library. Children are also welcome to come before or after school to exchange their books.
Books are checked out for one week.
Books may be renewed by bringing them to the media center.
