As a grade-level team, we continue to build on the skills and concepts that children have been previously introduced to, as well as:

• Work towards helping students to develop their critical thinking skills

• Foster an increased sense of independence

• Encourage children to assume more responsibility for their own learning

We want students to become more adept at problem solving, and we want them to be willing to take risks in pursuit of learning goals.

Ultimately, our goal is to motivate children and encourage them to be life long learners.
