Our goal is to provide a positive, consistent and productive environment in which each child can grow and develop at his/her own level.  Our environment is structured, yet flexible enough to allow for the personal, social, physical and intellectual growth of each child.  Kindergarten is an enjoyable experience where skills for future success are fostered. Our curriculum consists of an integrated hands-on program which focuses on development of the whole child. Our curriculum topics are:

  • Social Development/Work Habits: to develop positive self image, confidence, relationships with peers and adults, appreciation for learning environment, and an appreciation for effort and quality of work.

  • Language Arts: to develop letter recognition, phonemic awareness, develop age-appropriate writing skills, and an appreciation for oral and written language.

  • Mathematics: to develop number recognition skills, counting skills, learn an awareness of geometric shapes, patterns, and graphic skills.

  • Science/Health: to develop observational and questioning skills as well as an understanding of safety procedures, good nutrition, seasons, weather, and ones self.

  • Social Studies: to develop an understanding of their community, family, and holidays.
